Mk.gee's popularity has exploded over the past year. Guitar players have been trying to replicate his unique tone with some pedal makers even releasing pedals meant to emulate his use of Tascam preamps.

What to listen for

Mk.gee's guitar tone is unique. He uses a standard scale length guitar tuned to a baritone tuning. He also uses a cheap Tascam 424 as a preamp (though these are no longer cheap). He also uses a lot of reverb.
